Mr. Davis is an emerging fund manager currently responsible for managing and supervising acquisitions of seed stage through mezzanine equity of venture capital, utilizing private equity funding.
His background most recently includes the operation, management and structuring of private equity funds. He has assisted in more than $2 billion of venture capital transactions in various capacities, beginning in 2010.
Mr. Davis brings more than a decade of industry experience in different disciplines ranging from:
- trading of proprietary capital, commodities, equities, and bonds; and,
- acting in a general securities principal capacity overseeing branch activities such as corporate securities, REITs, variable contracts, and venture capital.
Before a career on Wall Street, he studied economics and business administration at East Carolina University. Mr. Davis then served for five years as a Mecklenburg County Deputy Sheriff, working alongside the U.S. Marshals Service on a federal fugitive task force in Charlotte, NC.
Given his vast experience in a wide range of responsibilities, Mr. Davis offers a unique understanding of both financial theory and real world mechanics, which is exceedingly rare.
